Sawsdee from Thailand
Well Thailand has been great. We caught a boat and then bus from Langkawi to Krabi. It was packed with tourists, so decided to stay at the next beach over in a cute little place with a pet otter that kept sneaking up on me when I was outside reading (Ive finished the summer garden btw thought it was epic).
I really wanted to see koh phi phi, so we did a dive out there, the clear water was beautiful, plus cool animals, saw a turtle, seahorse which was miniscual, stingray etc.
We went to a thai boxing match, which was a little over rated, the fighters looked about 14. Not quite as exciting as on TV...
Took a 14hr bus ride from Krabi to BKK, arrived at 6am and couldnt find any accomodation, we trekked for about 2hrs, gave up, had breakfast, got a thai massage which was great after lugging pack, and eventually found a place on khao san road.
Went to Siam square for a look round and took a boat up the river to get home.
Randomly met up with some friends Jason met when he was in Brisbane, so we ended up having a big night out with them.
We both got $6 haircuts yesterday haha, Jasons took longer than mine, cheapest haircut Ive ever had, but was in need as looking rather straggly.
We did a temple tour today on a tuk tuk, saw standing buddha, lucky buddha, black buddha and golden mountain all very impressive architecture. Tonight we are going to check out Patpong night market and tomorrow we are off to Cambodia.

man i am so hungover. gawd. i went to winnies yesterday arvo with errie, shaz, jo and jonno and watched the nomad who played for free, it was a beaut day and much beer was consumed but i got a little too rowdy for a sunday and next thing i knew i was drinking jack daniels at erins (eeeevil stuff), trying to text shaz with one eye closed and attempted to roll a spliffy with the other hand. i failed quite miserably at both i think. so yes, i did a shav and pulled a mental health day today and am watching crap aussie soccer and drinking mandarin mizone -so good.managed to keep some noodle soup down too which is good. so hung...
